Dennis Nelms, a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas, is co-owner of Climb indoor climbing and bouldering gyms with five locations. Dennis’ additional role as a climbing consultant for Runway Group allows him to develop Northwest Arkansas to become the most accessible and easiest community in which to learn how to climb. He works with local municipalities, counties, the State of Arkansas, and US government entities to infuse public climbing into public lands. 

With over three decades of experience in rock climbing, Dennis has become a respected figure in the climbing community. He finds solace in the rugged beauty of nature and thrives on the challenges and rewards that come with scaling cliffs. Beyond climbing and various other outdoor pursuits, Dennis also finds joy in raising his children with Fran Free, his wife.
